I have the pleasure of presiding over St. Joseph's College, located on the main road where town and village meet. It was started in 1875 by Reverend Francis Xavier.

As the main educational institution of Batticaloa district, the school administration, which is always supportive of the development of the college, with the contribution of dedicated staff and parents, can create a student community that is ready to face challenges and develop 21st century skills.
